It is a sad fact that the governments supported during decades the creation of nuclear reactors in its form today exclusively for the production of weapons killing humans.

If the politic had supported all the high intelligent inventors worldwide time ago, the humanity definitely would have no problems for any power production without wind and solar farms. There are existing harmless reactors working much better than the dangerous power stations.

In December, AVIS NucTron PLC in London has been launched with a 120 heads Russian team heaving an atom reactor solution for the creation of electricity by employ Uranium 238 and Thorium-232. Even such a reactor can totally absorb the high polluting dangerous radioactive rubbish hanging for thousands of years all-over of our world around.

On the other hand, the majority of the people have been coming to understanding that the tremendous future world energy needs can be met only through the development of the next generation of nuclear energy sources – deep sub-critical accelerator-driven nuclear systems using natural uranium-238 and thorium-232 – free of any long-lived (minor actinides) radioactive waste. Such new generation reactors shall produce energy and destroy (all the accumulated at the storage facilities) nuclear waste at the same time.

Brief Description of the Project 

The development of Accelerator-Driven Systems  (ADS) require three main validation stages: 

First Stage: design small modular reactors (SMR) – the accelerator-driven minor actinides' transmutation industrial prototype systems; 

Second Stage: build the first Accelerator Transmutation of Waste Prototype (ATOWP) – small modular reactor (SMR), validate the performance of different components in an installation, explicitly designed for demonstration at the industrial scale, and prove the actual destruction of minor actinides – showing that nuclear waste, in particular the long-lived components hard to destroy in critical reactors, can be really destroyed at a significant power (5 – 50 MWth).

AVIS NucTron PLC will create the first prototype of a transportable version of the reactor 3D printed in graphene to deliver to all those locations in need of large, sustainable and secure electricity. All functionality problems have been solved and the 3D printing solution with graphene should be the final task of the group. The target is creating of a Short Power Module (SPM) in a container size for delivery to any city or village. The Power module will not use the high pressure steam based technology.
